Dark Magic
I guess I should apologise for the lack of posts lately, I've just been so busy elsewhere!
Anyway, I did a shoot this week with the beautiful Niamh and I absolutely loved this shot from the moment I took it!
We worked on an idea based on Dark Magic and I shall post the rest of the photos soon!

The water falls
Today I played around with an idea for my Dark Magic theme. I wanted to do a couple of self portraits for this project (my boyfriend kindly assisted me on this one!)
The water was added after and I am thinking of recreating the image on location..
I hope you all like it :D

Flower child of mine
Finally got myself back behind the camera today to make a start on a new project, Gypsy dreaming.
This project will reflect on the carefree feel of the 'Gypsy' lifestyle. The images will be simple with a hint of vintage editing.
I hope you all like the first of this set. Still to come we have: a wedding, a festival and a real gypsy caravan! Stay tuned!

Rainbow Run
Part of our fundraising committee have come up with a brilliant idea (inspired by a similar idea in America). It is called the RAINBOW RUN and I encourage you to take a look at the video linked above.
For more information about the event and the charity please head on over to:

A very wet day
Today, whilst the rest of England had snow snow snow, we had.. rain rain rain. Silly Cornwall always gets it wrong!
Despite the rain, Tom and I went on a lovely walk to the woods, it felt a hundred miles from the city center and much more like home!

Whimsical dreams & fairy tales
Quite possibly the most beautiful picture I have ever taken!
This picture is everything I love in a photo, it has: flowers, fur, a vintage tinge and a stunning, natural girl as it's focus. The eye follows the line of the photo very nicely, from the tip of the models fingers, to the arrangement of flowers in her lap and back up to the models face which is sweetly lost in a thought.
Following the edit of this picture, I found it so hard to make anything look quite this beautiful again but I think I have done a good job with the rest of the images which will follow shortly.
Charlotte is only young but she has such promise as a model and, I think, should she choice to take it on as a career when she gets a little older then I imagine she will have a fabulous portfolio to take with her!
This picture found its way into my alternative endings album - well, maybe not all tales have to have a darker ending after all! There was something whimsical about the image which made me feel appropriate that it should be a fairy tale!
The following images were taken on the same shoot - the last has a little Ophelia in the styling; perhaps our fairy tale didn't end quite so sweetly!
