Parade of lights

Some time has passed, again, since I last posted but I have been so busy!

Christmas time is coming and I haven't found a moment to shoot - this wintery weather hasn't helped either!! 

This post is an introduction to Christmas - the Cornish way! We start with the lantern parade in Truro, where some of the local schools get together and build a sculpture to carry through the city centre - this years theme was Kings and Queens. My favourite had to have been the fox collar on the 2nd image here!

As always, Truro was VERY busy for the parade and at my tiny height of 5"2 I didn't exactly have the best view point!

On the rocks with Katie Anne Goff

Well, hello stranger! 

Bless me for I have sinned - It has been a while since I last posted - I apologise! I have, however, been fairly busy! Last weekend I went on a shoot with the lovely Katie Goff - she had me perched on a rock in a wedding dress which she bought for a pound and dyed black!

I had so much fun jumping across the rocks, barefoot, in a full length meringue and a top hat full of feathers!!

This weekend I had the honour of shooting a winter campaign for Loravon, which is a lovely little boutique in Helston selling lots of home made crafts and goodies. This is one of the final head shot images for Loravon, featuring the incredible Katie Louise Mcloughlin. More to come tomorrow.

Another quick shot from last weeks London shoot with the beautiful Sophie Dyer! 

Sophie is wearing a pearly topshop dress with an added sequin and peal collar - taken at the London Eye.

When I first met Sophie, back in the days of Myspace, her name was 'Miss Vogue' and she has ever since lived up to the style and beauty one would expect 'Miss Vogue' to hold; my go to girl when it comes to a fashion choice!! 

I have always been intrigued and impressed with Sophie's natural flair with fashion and ever so envious of her wardrobe - it is a shame we live over 250 miles away (a little far for a clothes swap wouldn't you say?!).

I may sound a bit soppy but Miss Dyer, you are and always will be a dear friend of mine!
